L. Dark Chocolate Salt Caramels
In the Sacred Valley of the Inca, a saltwater spring flows into terraced pools, beneath the snow-capped volcanoes of the Andes. Since Pre-Incan times, people have used evaporation to harvest salt near the village of Maras, Peru.
We carefully hand-dip our Cream of the Caramels in 65% dark chocolate, made with cocoa beans from the forests of Peru, where the cocoa tree (Theobroma cacao) originated, topping them with the salt of Maras, for a truly rare confection.
